Crisis

Resting my pods in my treehouse after a day’s ride.
Out of my tree… what is there to see…?

I don’t watch the news much, but I watched a popular news channel show yesterday evening. There were some noticeably disturbing messages.

Paraphrasing… ”We are on the verge of global nuclear war. Our USA government is lying to us. Some people believe that cheating and lying is okay. Men are in the process of losing their manhood.”

The reason I don’t watch the news much is that I’m just not man enough to take it.

I ask God for help. I ask Him why are we on the verge of global thermonuclear war? Why is the USA government lying? Why do people cheat? What is happening to us men?

God answers in His way, explaining that we are goofy. He said that we should realize that by now.

God went on to explain how some people are goofy and don’t realize it because they are too selfishly caught up in having power over others. He says they are too caught up in themselves.

He told me not to worry. He told me that He loved me and that He would take care of me and everyone else that listens. He said that I wasn’t as mentally disordered as I thought. And that there are many selfish people on earth that are far more disordered and unfortunately, mostly unaware of their condition. God said that those people are the reason that nuclear war, lies and fear has made the headlines.

God reminded me that He was taking care of me and to focus on my family and friends. He said to keep doing what I’m doing and man up!

I’m mostly retired. Except for some unavoidable honey-dos, I pretty much goof off for a living now. My last career job was designing internet operating circuit boards along with a distinguished team of engineers, managers and support personnel. Prior to that I was an electronics technician evolving into circuit board design in the defense industry working with tactical missile systems. My first career job was a professional artist. During my younger years I worked many odd jobs beginning at age nine with a newspaper delivery route.
