An old/new perspective
“Off grid” is a term indicating non conforming. It’s used for example, to describe a CAD datapoint that’s outside the established computer design coordinate system. It’s also used to categorize people who live in the wilderness independent from mainstream society.
In Words, I write a bit about my spiritual thinking. My thoughts flow somewhat outside mainstream Christianity.
I have this thought in my head that we Christians have skewed God’s foundational messaging.
Some people certainly deserve special recognition. But we’re all equal in God’s eyes. I feel we’ve inadvertently elevated some humans above other humans. Specifically from in the Bible. Seems to me that we’ve elevated some of the Bible’s physical writers to almost a Devine state. They certainly deserve special recognition but it seems that we almost worship them, which might alter our focus just a bit from Jesus and God’s words to include human words as God’s rules. Especially John’s book of Love.
Beautiful words
Human writers, and not just those of the Bible, frame God’s messaging with beautiful uplifting inspirational words and thoughts that were “breathed” on them by the Spirit. But ALL of us have our own free will and the Devil has always had a voice into our minds. He’s been after the church since day one. We’re all part of God’s church. Including the Bible writers… including non believers… maybe especially non believers. God breathes on everyone, even the criminal.
Sometimes we’re able to listen.
Rational thought
The Devil tries to distract us and is very tricky. That’s why we fight one another. That’s why we don’t always listen by asking for God’s help and then paying attention.
That’s why we want to rule others.
The Devil tells us we’re more important than our neighbor.
Or he tells us that we’re scum.
Sometimes our neighbor thinks we’re more important than they are.
I know in my heart that God loves us all the same. Even those that don’t know Him. Not just the people that know of Jesus.
God is not racistic.
And Heaven is off-grid from mainstream earth.
