Herein Edās ArtSite, is an approach to worshiping God. Iām not a prophet or clergy, Iām a commonologist with no credentials other than I love Godā¦ same as a lot of other folks. Iām just compelled to write about it. But itās just my opinion. Everybody has one. But not everybody has their own website to talk about it. Most commonologists have Facebook to do that. I also have FB but I quit using it because Iām not fond of Artificial Intelligence, which is actually a misnomer.
Anywayā¦ I digressā¦ let me get back on trackā¦
I grew up briefly encountering a southern Baptist doctrine. My childhood take away from the experience was that of confusion. Quotes from John, Paul, Peter and others seemed to dominate the Bible curriculum. It seemed that Godās words were less frequently studied. It appeared to me as a youngster that the Bible book writers and our preacher were of Devine origin. But I sensed some conflicting messages between Christās words and their words. Hence confusion ensued and I eventually dropped out of church.
As an adult, after my second major mental breakdown, I studied and worshipped the Bible. I collected several different versions. I have my prized edition wrapped in a fancy leather case. I desperately needed healing. I fell in love with the book. But it wasnāt the Bible that I was in love with. I realized that I was loving Godās closeness to me with the Bibleā¦ Itās a feelingā¦ like when sensing and appreciating a bird, flower or jellyfish. (see my Feeling post for more)
Worshiping the Bible causes us to elevate the fully human aspects of its writings to Holy. I believe that Satan is responsible for that practice because heās a tricky āused car salesmanā. Satan is cleverly smart. He knew that elevating menās words to Holy in Scripture would divide us. Dividing your enemy is a basic step towards achieving power over them. In the fray, itās easier for the demon to use our emotions against us. (see Overcoming for more)
God isnāt human with one brief Teaching exception.
God tells us through the Bible that we should only worship our One God.
Godās creations have His fingerprint on them. His āfeelingā Spirit surrounds everything. Heās in the air we breath. Heās in the stars. Heās in a rock. The Bible has Godās Spirit, but not a Fingerprint. The Bible is a human tribute referenced to Godās Word (Message) with manās fingerprintā¦ like a church building. Our constructions have our fingerprint. Godās creations have His. Godās fingerprint is on us. We can āfeelā God through each otherā¦ or an ant. Or through the Bible, or even a painting.
Jesus taught us networking. He taught us to be discerning. He didnāt put us in an elaborate building or fancy leather case. He met us on the earth. He told us that we didnāt need a large crowd in order to be with Him.
Godās in the Bible because Godās in us. Godās in a cloud. Godās in everything. God is reflected throughout the universe.
I believe weāre on dangerous ground by placing Devine attributes on humansā¦ The ones that built the Bible cannon, the writers of its contents and the clergy. Weāre holding men above other men. God says weāre all equal in His eyes. But we typically donāt follow that thinking.
God rightfully and graciously has power over us. We have none except to love or hate our neighbor. We tend to follow our human emotions. Weāre vulnerable to Satanās spirit. Our spirit leads us and our conscience follows. We help ourselves by focusing on Godās Spirit. Discernment is knowing who youāre listening to. Thatās not always easy. We can only do our best. We arenāt able to be perfect for any more than a blessed dream.
Godās allowing the Devil to spiritually āspeakā to us. Satanās the ābad copā filter protecting Godās Domain from free will evil human tendencies.
Satan doesnāt want us to know that Godās the āgood copāā¦ protecting us from the Devilās terrible spiritual influence. Satan wants to divide and conquer us. Satan wants his own following because heās envious of God.
But when the Devil takes a life, he doesnāt necessarily get to keep it. God has final say for who comes into Godās Domain. Satan is subject to God. So are we.
Our spirit is composed of our emotions. Satanās spirit is after our spirit. Bad thoughts are the Devilās āpassion playā.
In order to defeat Satan, we simply listen to God and love one another, respecting that our neighbor is uniquely different from us. And treat our neighbor like we want to be treated. If weāre mentally healthy, we want love and respect from everyoneā¦ so we oblige others. (see Unique for more)
āSo in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.ā Matthew 7:12 NIV
Itās been many a dreamersā dream to unite us as one under loveās emotions. A ācommon goodā single human spirit.
Only one manās message can unite usā¦ Jesus Christās, the Teacher. I donāt believe humans will ever globally unite without Godās Love message as the guiding Spirit.
Jesus Christ taught us to pray with a grateful heart, asking the Father to make it on earth as it is in heaven. The Lordās Prayer is a blueprint.
When we worship God, and love our fellow man without worshiping men or our man made objectsā¦ we obey His command and begin to approach Heaven united and undivided as One. š
