Sean of the South

Sean Dietrich

I think of Sean Dietrich as a good friend. We’ve never met outside the internet. But in my mind, we’re great friends in heart. The heart bridges everything and everyone when it’s exercised with good intentions. We can connect with others in spirit the same way we connect with Christ and the Father. I have connected with many “web friends” over the years through my philanthropic website. I met my goal of making friends through the Spirit. That’s what we do within the ether of the web… We communicate with emotion and our soul.

Truth is the MOST important ingredient of life… Heck, the whole Universe!

I don’t struggle with Truth but I struggle with fluid and uncluttered thinking, especially when writing. It’s a gene thing, but it’s okay! I think I’m getting better at writing plus I’m feeling better mentally these days.

Probably because I mostly avoid the news and read Sean of the South’s works. I’m learning how to do the writing right thingy from studying Sean’s. He’s taught me about Oxford commas.

Sean is a professional writer and an entertainer not unlike the likes of Lewis Grizzard and Samuel Clemens but with an artist’s touch, a musician’s hands, a wife, and a blind hound named Marigold!

Sean had a debut gig on March 24, 2023 at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry! I’m very happy for him. It was always a dream of his and his parents! I imagine his dad was watching from the balcony in the spiritual section.

He had another GOO gig June 10, 2023 and I was able to listen on the internet. Sean’s as funny and entertaining on stage as he is in his writings!!!! My current favorite article is “Thanks for the Tea, Sort Of”. It’s about what it takes to be a man in front of your wife.

Sean’s third appearance at the Grand Ole Opry was on September 22, 2023. He celebrated his first album release, “Porch Music”!

You should go see Sean of the South if you’re able. I think you’re going to love him!

I like to tell the truth!

Substack

March 19, 2025 – I deleted my Substack account in order to help unpublish my last name from the internet. Which was permanently displayed on the front page in the Substack copyright notice. I regret that deleting my account also removed my comments from Sean’s blog. But it is what it is.

Way back when I was merely a Sean fan without a Substack account… I was curious as to how much a Substack account cost for Sean so I clicked my way into accidentally creating my own account. I learned that the account was free, but at the time Substack didn’t have a user means of deleting my newly formed by accident account. Long story short, I decided to finally delete my mistake… I just didn’t realize it would also delete my Sean’s blog comments. But it is what it is. Computers will never be “smart” until they can recognize what we meant by our actions.

April 2, 2025 – I started a new Substack account…
Off grid ❤️ On ground …This time it was intentional. 😊

“Time Equals Flavor”

Sean’s wife was explaining to him why cooking homemade chicken soup takes a long time.

Many things in life require time and hard work to achieve, then patience to realize. Dreams are no exception.

I love Sean’s works, they are inspiring and humbling. He writes with a colorful southern wit that is both entertaining and enlightening. His daily Blog goes down well with my morning mug of joe. His writing helps align my disordered brain for a healthy kickstart to my day!

My wife introduced me to Sean of the South’s popular writings. His books and blog stories are about extraordinary people. People that most of us would stop at a polite greeting. Sean goes further.

There are a lot of extraordinary people out there and Sean Dietrich is most definitely one of them!

“I don’t think anyone needs a reason to be nice.”  Sean of the South

We don’t have to like our parents or anyone else that causes us pain. We only need to forgive them. That leads to love and healing. Be it ever so awkward at times. Take the lesson from Sean, look for the good. That’s what leads to healing.

I’m retired. Except for some unavoidable honey-do’s, I pretty much goof off for a living now. My website is spirit rewarding fun for me and I hope, uplifting and enlightening fun for you.
