There’s something incredible about life
Since the first humans were formed, we have been propagated from a mix of the male and female. A brand new human life starts inside the mother as soon as her fertilized egg begins to multiply cells. We learn this at a very early age.
Life is hard
Our western culture “grew up” fearing God. Abortion was a sin outside any life-threatening condition. Nowadays our sociocultural environment is in a kind of self-preservation mode.
It’s hard to raise a child, especially for a single parent, so some people don’t think they can or simply want nothing to do with it. Many make a conscientious effort to prevent pregnancy. Some think they are alone and in control. That’s when God is the one oppressed.
Getting a grip
Believe it or not, we’re all vulnerable to varying degrees of mental illness. Stress is a… if not THE trigger. We live consciously or unconsciously stressing over things we feel are out of our control… like over-populating the earth… Aborting a fetus and homosexuality, are sociocultural episodic reactions to stress.
Satan has our ear. The Devil whispers to us that we are a god controlling our own destiny and some are convinced. The desire to do the right thing is alive in everyone… We have individual ideas of what the right thing is because we’re all unique and have unique experiences. Thusly, the right thing is subjective to each of us.
Abortion at any stage after fertilization ends a human life. Life is a precious gift from God. The fortunate of us start with a sparkle in our parents eyes. Ideally we begin life in love with our married mother’s consent to her husband. But life doesn’t always happen that way. For many of us, it’s more spontaneous. It’s more difficult for some.
So what’s the plan
Mom has serious work to do growing a baby. Nine months is just the beginning. Dad gets off pretty easy for nine months… then the new baby’s needs are a shared effort.
A baby is a life changing blessing for the parents. But before and since Christ, not one of us is perfect. And life isn’t always ideal for anyone. Raising kids is not for the faint of heart.
If I could offer any good advice it might be to try maintaining love and hope. Love and hope is what God wants us to nurture.
Hope keeps us alive and moving toward a good outcome. Love keeps us happy and content.
Answers and actions
We are not alone, ever. Sometimes we can think we are due to stressing challenges. Satan would like us to believe we’re alone. There’s always a battle raging between good and evil. I expect that peace and truth will come for everyone, but personally, I haven’t a clue how or when. I don’t win my battles until I forgive myself. ❤️
