A friend is someone who loves you when you need love.

Log Cabin Church

God’s church is within each one of us. Whenever we gather in spiritual love… we’ve built a church. We’re always in church. We’re never outside the love of a spiritual church. A physical structure simply provides shelter. We’re in church when with a friend. We’re in God’s presence when we’re alone. It can be in tight quarters or outside on a mountainside overlooking a vast expanse… day or night.

Jesus taught us human networking. He was people spirit oriented. I believe that’s what Jesus was explaining when He told His disciple, Peter, that He would build His church on Peter the “Rock”… a parable of God’s good and perfect plan. Jesus was telling us that people make up his church. He simply meant for us to build spiritual relationships with each other. When we do, our spirits are in church with God’s Spirit. Because God is ALWAYS with us. Jesus taught us to unite with love. We teach ourselves to divide with forms of hate.

I believe God was explaining to us through Jesus that we won’t necessarily find the path to Heaven with the masses. We’ll find it with a friend.

Life doesn’t always guarantee a good family but making a friend can start a great family.

Anyone can be a friend… Jesus showed us that.

I was tired, now I’m retired. Except for some unavoidable honey-dos, I pretty much goof off for a living now. My last career job was designing internet operating circuit boards along with a distinguished team of engineers, managers and support personnel. Prior to that I was an electronics technician evolving into circuit board design in the defense industry working with tactical missile systems. My first career job was a professional artist. During my younger years I worked many odd jobs beginning at age nine with a newspaper delivery route.
