Sometimes I think I would make a good spaceman… I enjoy being alone as much as being with others because I have my Art brain. The Internet is well ‘space’ suited for “alone” remote audience commonology oriented work like Ed’s ArtSite. Because the Internet is crowdless. Nobody physically goes there. The world wide web exists only within the electronic ether. … Continue reading Well Spaced

I’m mostly retired. Except for some unavoidable honey-dos, I pretty much goof off for a living now. My last career job was designing internet operating circuit boards along with a distinguished team of engineers, managers and support personnel. Prior to that I was an electronics technician evolving into circuit board design in the defense industry working with tactical missile systems. My first career job was a professional artist. During my younger years I worked many odd jobs beginning at age nine with a newspaper delivery route.
Water
I learned a long time ago that water is what causes babies. It explains a lot, because there’s lots of water most places on the planet. Ergo there’s more babies and “grown up” babies than you can shake a stick at. I think shaking a stick wouldn’t hold up because either the stick would break… Continue reading Water
Beyond
When I was very young, I wanted to be an artist. I loved drawing and painting. I did finally become a professional artist and eventually became interested in animation. I have lots of story ideas. This is one of them. The opening scene is a sunny day at Rodin’s, “The Thinker”. The camera focus begins… Continue reading Beyond
God Package
I was introduced to Christianity at an early age. I was a typical wacky kid with a wild imagination. While I was growing up, I maintained God’s image from the seed in my little child’s brain as a beautiful, older than anybody, white haired, white robed, bearded, distant, brightly glowing super Man with a tall staff… Continue reading God Package
Help
A librarian’s life is a humble life and all about helping others. So should ours be. But it seems the Devil is taking over these days. Trying to pummel the humble helpers into the ground. It has always seemed to me that the Devil is in need of restraint. Today’s counter culture activity is just… Continue reading Help
Birds
work, sing and playlike the songbird greets the sunwith thanks for a new dayand grace from an old one I’ve mentioned that I have a knack for the obvious. So this post is not going to surprise you. Of all the creatures I’ve personally encountered, birds are the most spiritually inspiring. First off, they personify… Continue reading Birds
Perfect
Jesus, in speaking about children, told us that the kingdom of heaven is meant for “such as these”… Maybe because kids are too young to keep themselves out of Heaven. I take it to mean we don’t need to worry about their soul. God has them covered. <<<<<<>>>>>> When I was a child I thought… Continue reading Perfect
Connections
Just like an electronic circuit board, Ed’s ArtSite is full of connections. Lots of links from this to that then back to the other thing. It’s enough to make you dizzy and a qualify as a global health hazard. You may not see how anyone can tolerate so much connectivity for any length of time.… Continue reading Connections
Death
As far as I know, nothing is as inevitably constant as death. We cannot bank with any assurance on any of “life’s” adventures. Most often we haven’t a clue what’s around the next corner. We frequently wing it when it comes right down to it. Discovery is inspiration for the wandering soul. Not so with… Continue reading Death
The Twig
Is God real? At first, God doesn’t speak or show Himself in a clear and precise way so we have to figure out on our own whether He is real. We figure this out from living and thinking about what it means to be alive. And studying the natural world. If we’re enlighteningly fortunate, we… Continue reading The Twig
