It’s not so bad

Life’s Good… mostly

If you are a fan of the news, you’re probably not a happy camper. The news focuses on the stresses of the day and doles out bad news like it was candy. And we eat it up!

Oh the news folks will throw a little crumb out of “good” here and there, but the focus is always on the bad. We seem to thrive on our “dirty laundry” and mostly ignore the good of us.

We’re all guilty. We’re all caught up in the mundane and typically find the absorption of bad news the most “interesting” part of our daily routine. As a global society, we’re suckers for the worst things in life… mostly.

I wonder if the retail “news” changed focus to broadcasting the good… mostly… would we develop a better understanding and attitude towards our fellow humans. Would our fellow humans develop a better understanding and attitude toward us… mostly!

Mental illness is MOSTLY unresolved in our society. Maybe the news should focus more attention on how to identify symptoms of mental health issues. And then focus on how to rectify those issues… for one good thing.

Another good thing would be focus on the many wonders nature presents us… like a nebula, a flower, and a songbird you can see and hear from your front porch.

I think that the bad of us is fixable. I think the good of us fixes the bad in us. We just need a little help sometimes finding the help.

Maybe if we, as a whole global flock of humble humans, focused on our blessings… MOSTLY… we might find ourselves loving life and each other a little more. 💕

Have a blessed day! 😎❤️
