June 2026 – Over the years my career based design tool evolved from a pencil to a mouse. Now I’m using Artificial Intelligence as an informational tool for constructive criticism of Ed’s Art Site and technical “how to’s” for website building software.
AI has “shaken” the artist in me so that my “ends” are better web structured and not quite as wacky doodle “loose”. I’m enjoying my AI “relationship”.
I currently have no plans to use AI to augment my writing and art. For me, as an organic writer and artist, using AI to create would feel like cheating.
Collaborating with AI on my website structure and navigation has been gratifying. AI has made its mark with this old artist.
My AI overview
I was skeptical at first, but through “intelligent” debate, arrived at the conclusion that although AI is unconscious, it’s technically way smarter than me… by a long shot.
AI is not perfect, but it’s an impressive tool. In my eighth decade, I just need to keep in mind that it’s a manufactured machine.
