Everybody’s got at least one

People tend to expect certain behavior from others. The most inaccurate expectation is that everyone else should behave in a way that kinda mimics our own behavior.

We really shouldn’t expect anyone to be just like ourself. Not even so called “normal” people. And if we think we’re “normal”, we’re probably not, a least not all the time.

Uniqueness runs rampant in the human family. Everybody’s different from everyone else. We all have our own unique “self” perspective.

With mental illness especially, that “same as me” expectation should “go out the window”.

What we should expect… is that people will love each other when they love and allow each other to have a unique perspective.

Understanding means allowing others to be different from you… and vice versa. While freedom opens a window to uniqueness of expression… simple humility opens the door to a better understanding of other’s uniquenesses.

We get into internal trouble when we hate or try and take advantage of others. We pay a price physically and emotionally when we behave badly.

We get spiritually rewarded when we love and respect others without expecting something in return.

Hate divides and isolates us into dysfunctional small broken particles with diminished potential.

Love opens doors and windows to potential and ignites a grand perspective of Oneness with God’s plan.

Have a curtain opening kind of day! ❤️
